That's the thing, he seems very undecisive and ambiguious about the way he defines songs now. He use to be able to describe what a album sounded like and it's purpose to him but now he just throws in a few historical tidbits, offers one abstract thought on a handful of songs and uses a metaphor about hearts and brains and sometimes doesn't even give a thumbs up or down.
While I don't need a rating system, I would love to get a better impression of albums (though music is hard to translate to words, sometimes) like he *used* to do. None of this pseudo-intellectual filler.
