So, with John reviewing Ween and a lot of people saying that they can't find it in their hearts to love the band, or even like them all that much, due to the nagging feeling of "novelty" and "kitsch," I was just wondering what people think of They Might Be Giants. They're fairly similar in spirit, if not necessarily in substance.
Personally, I like them quite a bit. Silly though they may be, they have a tendency to occasionally just pull out a perfect pop song ("She's An Angel," "See The Constellation," "Dr. Worm," etc.). They may not ever be one of my very favorite bands, but I'd probably have to give them a 3 star rating. Apollo 18 is a really fantastic album.
What do you guys think of them?
