I have had a chance to see the assistance you have rendered to others on this board, thank you.
He attended ASTP/ Lafayette College for a year. He was decorated for the Rhineland and Ardeenes Campaign. In waching a TV series just before he passed away (1974) he saw a story on St. Josefsheim and mentioned he help liberate. I am unable to locate where that is, but believe it around Hardt Germany. The Battle there was Feb. 28 1945 and I believe he was injured around that time. He was not decorated for the Central Europe campaign, though he was in Europe at the time. He was possibly in the Hospital. He departed the EAME on Jan. 10 1946 and arived stateside Feb. 11 1946.
