My father was in the 333rd Infantry Division with the Railsplitters, 84th Infantry Division. I never knew my father as he died in 1951 when I was 3 years old. I know he served in World War II and I have some of the medals he was given but I would love to hear from anyone who might have known him. My mother didn't know much about his service. His highest rank was Sergeant and I believe he was wounded in combat. He was from Bonne Terre, Missouri. As a child I remember seeing a belt buckle with the Nazi symbol on it and on his discharge papers there were some items listed that he brought home.
