Yes, I am waiting on a response from the VA for information just requested. You might try: Eric Van Slander, Textual Archives Services Division, National Archives and Records Administration, 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, Maryland 20740-6001. If you know your fathers regiment (335th) and date they have something called an After Action Report that details the action taking place at that time that they can send you.
