I am puzzled by your posting pertaining to Francis Spetelunas. Neither my database of company personnel nor the K-335 section of the 84th Division roster contains a listing for him. Do you have further information?
Elements of the company were in Givet, France on December 26, 1944, having assembled there after escaping German panzer columns during a counter-reconnaissance operation in defense of Marche-en-femenne, Belgium. However, none of our records indicate any fatalities on December 26.
