According to my informations Private Francis Spetelunas from Providence, Rhode Island was in the 333rd Infantry Regiment.

After a request in this great forum some time ago, Allan could give additional information, as the division roster indicates more precicely that he was 333rd Company B.
To my person: I searched for your husband uncle and many others, as I would like to give people that died on this day a face again. I am searching for the history of people that died on that day on the American side and on the german side, even in concentration camps.
My father was a teenage sargeant in the 116th Panzerdivision on the german side, and he was inside the Verdenne pocket. A lot of his teenage comrades died there. I hope that you are interested in a further contact.
