Hi, something posessed me today to type "Domenic Bertetti" in google to see what came up. His wife Helen was my fathers aunt, and she raised my dad for the first several years of his life here in Detroit. She was a huge part of my childhood too. We have his footlocker and I think we have one of his uniforms as well, I think we have his purple heart too. I remember playing with that footlocker when I was a kid and the name has never left me. If anyone has any info on him I would love to hear about it.
