I checked the roster for all units of the 84th Division and failed to find a listing for Malcolm Jones. There are many segments of the roster and I could have overlooked it. Are you sure that he was in the 84th? Do you have additional information such as his regiment, company, or where he may have served? Some men may have been assigned to the division during the Army of Occupation in Germany or for travel back to the States for demobilization. Their names would not be in the roster as it was compiled at the end of hostilities.
