334 infantry Company "M"

To anybody with information concerning the deployment of company "M" of the 334 infantry 84th railsplitters. I am looking to research my grandfathers service during WWII. He passed away recently and never spoke about it. Only to say he carried a lot of regrets for the things he had to do while there. He was a machine gunnner. He was a deeply religious man and his time in service there was a source of remorse for him. Please help with any info or a referral for resources to research his service more thoroughly.
