My uncle, Staff Sargeant Joseph William Humphrey (34497194), was killed on April 7, 1945 after he and his unit (Company K, 335th Infantry, 84th Div.)crossed the Rhine and overran several strongpoints before reaching Eisbergen, where he lost his life. Close friends were Tech. Sargeant Clyde J. Wright (39405311) and Sergeant Wesley C. Chestnut (39269472). Are there any pictures of these three soldiers extant? And, are there any records featuring these men?
