I searched the rosters of all units of the 84th Division and failed to find a listing for Riley D. Tyree. World War II personnel records are maintained by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Approximately 80% of all World War II personnel records were destroyed by a fire at NARA's St. Louis, Missouri facility in the early nineteen seventies. To determine whether Riley's records currently exist in whole or in part submit a request per instructions at the NARA web site at the link below.
