ASTP at VPI (now Virginia Tech)

The terrible tragedy at Virginia Tech this week reminded me of my visits with my husband at VPI in 1943. We were married in October of that year during a brief furlough and I visited again at the time the group were leaving there. I wonder if there are any men from that era. My husband, Bob Nickel (called Nick by most of his friends) was in Company F and I received much information from John Miller after I sent a message to this website.
