jim: your father was not in my father's platoon- 3rd platoon of L company- ask the board director Allen Howerton to go to his copy of the 335th roster to check what company he was in for sure- also you should go to your library reference section to hunt down a copy of the book: The 84th Infantry Division in the Battle of Germany: November 1944-May 1945 by Lt. Theodore Draper to learn more about the battle of Lindern which was the action for company L you are interested in- i'm going to try to send you some scans about actions of the third battalion 335th for the 29th of November including a battle map the quality of which you can improve on by acquiring the Draper book- best of luck in your search- gene
