My grandfather, Donald Okenfuss, was a member of K Company, 84th Infantry during World War II. As a child, my grandfather would tell me all sorts of stories from the time he served in Europe, and my love of history is due to him and his stories. My grandfather passed away on March 8 of this year. Now, I'm writing a research paper on him for my history class, and I was wondering if anyone else could provide me with some information I hadn't heard yet. Many in my family own the book "The Men of Company K", and I plan on using that as one of my sources for my paper. If anyone else could provide a different angle on my grandfather, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Chad Okenfuss
