The 84th Division roster does not contain a listing for Jopseph A. Vetrano. It does list Private Anthony S. Vetrano of Ashtabula, Ohio as a member of the 784th Ordnance (LM) Company. He served during all three of the division's campaigns (Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe). I do not know if this is the same person. There is no further information. My memoir, "Dear Captain, et al.: the Agonies and the Ecstasies of War and Memory," contains three chapters on the Battle of the Bulge as well as all other combat operations in which the division was involved.
