I met a GI in Germany in the Spring of 1945 last name Perkins. He was with the Railsplitters, probably Recon. Troup because they had a lot of scout cars. He loved to play the piano. His Father's name was Martin Luther Perkins. The war was over and he was encamped in the village of Hemsbach, about35 miles south of Frankfurt. I got a name of Charles H. Perkins Sgt.R.A.C.E. in Warren Texas who served with the Railsplitters in Recon. Could this be the man and is he still living? Anybody with an idea please write me.
