Born on October 6, 1907 in Hamilton Township, MI; passed away on December 14, 2007 in Okemos, MI at the age of 100. Mr. Shaull was a U.S. Army veteran who served for 26 months during WWII with Company A of the 84th Division. He steered the first boat of the division's troops across the Roer river. He retired from John Bean Company in 1972 after 32˝years of service. Mr. Shaull was preceded in death by his wife, Leota Shaull in 1981, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving are his daughter, Gloria (Fred) Thompson; grandchildren, Marvin (Donna) Thompson, Sheila (Allan) Pohl and Cindy Ray; 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lucie M. Blake and Audrey Shipsky. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18 at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston with Pastor Jeanne Laimon, of Wheatfield United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens, Okemos. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
