The 84th Division roster lists Pfc. Luther D. Foster of Washington, Virginia as a member of Company I, Third Battalion, 333rd Infantry. It indicates that he served during all of the division's campaigns (Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe). I have no further information. If you have not done so you many wish to request a copy of your grandfather's Individual Deceased Personnel File (IDPF) from the U.S Army Human Resources Command.
