Adolph ("Zuke") was my father; served in K-Company, 335th Infantry Regiment, 84th Division, one of the few who went over with the division and served to war's end without becoming a casualty. Died in 1972. I am proud of his service, and of the unit's contribution to the war effort. I still find it hard to comprehend the suffering they experienced.
