I am a Rail Splinter and have attended three past reunions. I would like to see the continuation of the society in some form. As a history buff I have spent many hours researching the 84th, traveling to Europe and I am currently working on a narrative of my Father and Uncles service in the 84th.
I would offer my participation and some form of limited financial support if there is sufficient interest in continuing the Railsplitters. At a minimum I would like to see a permanant Web site established which would assure that the memory of what these fine Americans did for our country and the world. They are my hero's.
