Thomas Walker Information

Do you have any information on Thomas Walker who would have been my grandfather. He died in 1972 and from what my dad said didn't discuss much about his time. The only info I have is that I think he was in the 84th, he ended as a TSGT, and was from Pennsylvania. I am interested in doing more research, but don't want to purchase any books until I'm sure of what unit etc he was in.
