The 84th Division roster lists Thomas E. Walker of Hatboro, Pennsylvania as a member of Company C, First Battalion, 334th Infantry. His rank is noted as S/Sgt. The T/Sgt. rank was likely achieved after the end of the war in Europe as the roster was compiled just after hostilities ceased. The listing indicates that he served in all three of the Division’s campaigns (Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe) and was awarded a Purple Heart Medal.
