My dad was a Railsplitter during WWII, but he never really wanted to or ever mentioned much about the war etc.... I believe/know he was a railsplitter infrantry, but I don't know much more. He has since passed.....
If you have any capabilites or sites that you can direct me to I'd very much appreciate any/all information I can find out about him and his active duty service. Somewhere I have a picture or two as well as some railsplitter patches, pamphlet, etc....I believe he received 1 or 2 purple hearts as well.....
His name would be listed as either:
Arthur Lucious Duell
Lucious Arther Duell (He hated that 1st name)
He was out of Meriden? Connecticut.
Thanks in Advance,
His loving son David
