As I grew up in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana a neighborhood friend told me stories of WWII and the Division in which he fought. The 84th Railsplitter Division. He trained at Camp Howze in Cooke County Texas and Camp Clairborne, Louisiana. After the war and when he had enough "points" he came home. Mr. Breaux passed away a couple of years ago and I am just getting around to researching his war time units.
Any information you can supply will be of help.
Thanks
Bobby Martin
