Thanks for the timely reply. I certainly agree that the attack of King and Item Company at Lindern (and most of the troops who got through across the rail line and dug in were King Company men)was the decisive action of the Geilenkirchen Salient campaign. Once Lindern was in Railsplitter hands, the German line was unhinged and further resistance forward of the Roer River become impossible. I have enormous admiration for you and the other King Company men who carried that attack through.
