My great uncle was in the 84th , 333rd Infintry, CO G. I have his original discharge papers, his troop bible(which has some notes he had written),a photo of himself, and a few other articles he saved. I am trying to find any info I can about what the 333rd did. When I was a youngin I would ask him about his time in Europe and he would not talk much about it. He had written a name in his bible twice,Cpl Sm. Goodwin with an APO address. My dad says that one of his best buds while in Europe was a gentleman by the name Melvin (forgot last name I will find out and reply with it). My uncle was Ssgt Lynn Ford. If anyone knows anything about him or his comrades I would greatly appreciate the info.
