On his discharge papers it says he served with company “H” of the 335th and was transferred to “K” company later on. He was a translator at times because our family spoke German back at home. I’ll have to post a few DD-214s, you might be able to understand them a little more. From what my grandma tells me, he was at the battle of the bulge, Ardennes forest, and the attack on the Siegfried line. Was there even a company “H” in the 335th and if it was it would have been a reserve unit, correct? Once I get off work I’m going to upload my pictures and info on here for you to decode.
