The 84th Division roster lists Pfc. Ernest A. Wenrich of Auburn, Pennsylvania as a member of Company F, 333rd Infantry. The listing notes that he served in the Rhineland and Ardennes campaigns and died of wounds on March 3, 1945. Information as to where and when he was wounded would most likely be found in the company’s daily morning reports that are on microfilm at the Federal Records Center of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in St. Louis, Missouri.
