Posted by Jeanie Kolb on February 20, 2005, 11:42 pm Both my dad and my mom are deceased now. I am the youngest of six children, an identical twin. My father was almost 50 when I was born and died when I was 21. Memories never fade. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, the greatest generation!

Thank you so much for reading my message. I'm writing about my father, his name was Thaddeus (Ted) Killian. He was with the 84th Signal Company, 84th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. My father passed away in 1985 and we miss him dearly. He never discussed his experiences during World War II. He was a humble, proud and brave man. I found a Certificate of Merit from Major General A. R. Bolling. I was wondering if anyone remembers my father. I have a picture of him in his uniform if that will help. He had a wonderful sense of humor, that someone should remember. Thaddeus was born in 1916 and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. The number on his certificate of merit is 13011020.
