Dad, John S. Mitchell 138th Ord H.M. Co

My dad was with them, but his notes indicate that he joined the 84th Inf Division at Virnheim. I have group photos of the 138th HM Co and dad noted, "taken prior to leaving for Linchberg Ger, Company was broke up. His uniforms still have the railsplitter patch. I would appreciate any help. I've been trying to track down any info on his Company, I have many photos from towns of operation and staffing.
