The 84th Division roster confirms that Pfc. Ricardo M. Parra of Los Angeles, California was a member of Company H (heavy weapons), Second Battalion, 335th Infantry. He was killed in action on December 2, 1944 in the vicinity of Beeck, Germany during the major Battle of Lindern, an important locale in the Siegfried Line in relation to securing the approaches to the Roer River.
