I have yet to hear back from the NARA, it has been about 1 month. I have found an alternate source for records. In Texas we have the Adjutant General in the State Capital and in his office he has records for Texans that have served in the military. You may want to check the State Agencies in Michgan for this position and they may be able to help you. My father was in the 335th Company M.
