Hi Liz. I am not giving up by any means. Merely picking my battles, and investing my energy, wisely. I believe that when we love and respect and honor each other we have a force that transcends greed and evil. I make it a point each and every day to love my son, love my family, love my friends. To treat others in an honest and loving manner. In this way I stand up against the greed, the anger, the pain, the lies. Does it make a huge difference in the universe ? The state ? Perhaps not. But it does make a difference in my little community, and that's a great place to start. Blessings to you and yours.
