After thinking some more about it I have to say that I think that I'm a very positive person and on the whole I am very tolerant. The one thing that I hate in this world is injustice and hypocrisy. I truly think that Hitler came to power because everyone let him not because they subscribed to his ideals or ideas. When everyone figured out what those ideals were it was too late. The same can be said of Boot Key Harbor: there truly are a few people here who have the ideal that they are the boss, they decide who should stay and who goes, they have set themselves up as the harbor mayors, unelected. The rest of us for the most part stand by watching and knowing this is wrong but it doesn't affect us so we don't want to get involved because we either don't want to be bothered or we fear reprisals. The thing is that these people have no power other than the power we give them by not speaking up loud and clear against their un-American activities. I for one am sick of it. I am careful not to name names but I am sure that everyone who reads this and lives in Boot Key Harbor knows who I am talking about. It's time to hit these folks in the pocket book. They say the pen is mightier than the sword, well my pen says that I no longer am going to stand by while these folks do things to disturb the lives of others just because they have decided that those others don't fit in with their small minded view of the caliber of people who should live here. Hit them in the pocket book quit patronizing their businesses and make it clear to others that you won't stand for this Boss Hogg mentality any longer. Lizard
