It now appears a TRUE leader has stepped forward.
The City has appointed Mary Belden to the city's nearshore waters advisory board.
Mary has been very out spoken on how the harbor has/is being ran. Her thoughts and ideas regarding the harbor have been outstanding in almost all regards.
Mary is a liveaboard in Boot Key and not only cares about the harbor and it's people but also the environment of the waters surrounding the City of Marathon.
Maybe the next step for Mary could be a run for City Office.
