Things have changed just a bit down here in the last 20 years Drew. :-)
You can get slips, but most places need a year in advance reservation, with advance deposits at the time of the reservation up to $500 or so. Marina names have changed a lot in 20 years. Go to the bootkeyharbor.com website and look for the Marathon Marinas to see a listing of most of them. If you start calling right now you might still be able to get one for this winter's season. Moorings are now in the harbor as well, besides continued anchorage mostly in the west end.
