Posted by jake on August 6, 2007, 8:02 pm The only thing not up for discussion on a community level is the recent conviction for felony possession of Marijuana. I will discuss the legalities behind making such a case but I do not want to argue what the courts have already decided upon.

This is to confirm a community meeting to be held at Dockside Lounge on the 27th of August at 6:00 PM to discuss community ideas and issues involving relations with local law enforcement and to bring forth ideas to continue to improve relations. Ideas that would be good to discuss would be the articles/letters we discussed at the last meeting that still have not come to fruition, regular boating safety classes, discussions about current laws, vessel inspections, continued communication on the cruisers net, community watch, direct points of contact to FWC officers, assistance to prevent derelict vessels within the harbor, and anything else you would like discussed.
