Many of them do not want the dinghy dockage tied to the mooring ball, for the reasons I've stated. Some went so far as saying if it happened, they would be leaving. And you should not feel alone, as most people (including the City of Marathon) have not done their research). The City of Marathon will start their process this Friday.
In regards to the fees. I did not go looking for them... The boaters came to me because of my past with the marina and the city.
