And yes, I was warned not to use him, but dumby me, I did anyway, because I knew he needed the money. Afternoon XXX, For several days, we told you would receive no more money until the job was done. You took a job that should have only taken a week and a haft at the most, and turned it into a job going on 4 weeks. Now I have to fine someone to fix your poor I stated if you had it done in one and haft weeks, I would give you $1,500.00 . Well it is now going on 4 weeks. You asked for You walked off the job. You abandoned the job So what did we get from you. poor workmanship, As I am now taking over where you messed up, it will take me several weeks to locate your tools and put them aside. However, if you need them sooner, I will stop what I am doing and start looking for them. If you want me to do this for you, it will take several hours (3). My going rate is $65.00 per hour for a total cost So you can have it done as I am able to get to it, while I am fixing and cleaning your mess. Or you can pay me $195.00 and I will search for them once I'm paid. One way is free, the other pays for my time. The choice is yours. Jim Lesson learned. Just because a "friend" needs money, is no reason to hire him... Just help him out with "some" funds and let it go.

Resently I needed help doing some work on our vessel. Like a fool I hired an old friend (or so I thought) to help me.
