Posted by Jim Lowry If you are having computer challenges you may want to look at the following, if use are using Windows... 1) Before you install a similar product such as a WiFi card and an Air Card, you need to remove the WiFi card software / hardware program. This can be done 2 ways. 1) Open the "Control Panel", open "Add & Remove programs (software). Look for the old product. and remove it. Then go back and install the new hardware. 2) If you think a program is running that shouldn't be... Click on "Run" then type in msconfig and click run. first look under "Start up". uncheck anything you do not want to start up when you turn on the computer. second look for items that maybe part of the old hardware or software...
