I was one of the original(citizens to incorporate marathon). We all Knew then what monroe county tyrany was like, and the good ole boys way of doing business when every tax dollar taken out of marathon stayed in key west and never quite tricklen down the way it should have
was more trickle on marathon by corrupt politicians
i would hope that if there are some concerns about marathon city government wise voters will have a through the bums out election
our system is only as good as those we elect to serve us at all levels of government
local state and federal
the fine people of marathon will do a great job of SELF determination and im proud to have been a small part by working to incorporate
