The City Marina was established to accomodate liveaboard boaters and cruisers staying aboard their vessels. As you were staying in a Motel renting a mooring ball would be prohibited. This rule was established by the State as a requirement in leasing the City Boot Key Harbor baybottom. All marine sanitation devices that could be discharged into near shore waters MUST be LOCKED and inaccessible, Y valves for vessels so equipped must also be locked to be unoperable.
