People do anchor there but it can get testy with an easterly blow. The holding isn't that great either as there is quite alot of scouring from the tide. With a Trimaran, you would have no problem entering Boot Key Harbor through Sister's creek where the mooring field is available and there may be room to anchor...good luck!
