Howard I am going to try and be nice. If I was you and I wanted to talk about a given subject, I'd first go back and take some refresher classes to update my knowledge base.
For had you done so, you would have learned just how wrong you are. As you know (I hope) in Law, words, WORDS Howard are everything.
So you stop getting your Law wrong, you might want to either do some case reviews...
OR you could just read the following:
http://www.adaag.com/ada-accessibility-guidelines/index.php#3.5
Where it states:
Boat Slip.
That portion of a pier, main pier, finger pier, or float where a boat is moored for the purpose of berthing, embarking, or disembarking.
Next, I would review:
http://www.fs.fed.us/recreation/programs/accessibility/Rec_Boating_Fishing.pdf
Then
http://www.dbtac.vcu.edu/adaportal/Facility_Access/ADAAG/Special_Occupancies/Recreation_Facilities/ADAAG_15-2.html
And because the City Marina's Dinghy Dock is THE ONLY DINGHY DOCK in the harbor;
thereby being integral part of the City of Marathon and Boot Key Harbor, you wish to review:
http://www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/JuneauSA.htm
Anything else, I just wait for your questions
I hope you have a Happy New Year,
Jim Lowry
