Greg I can understand your feeling about the "the troops boarding your vessel without permission", They went against Federal Law.
But someone in Sarasota needs to stand up. As the ADA mandates that the Police are required to be able to communicate with the deaf.
When you stand back and do nothing... you get nothing... except your rights taken away.
I served our country for the rights we have, and I for one (maybe the last one) will not stand by and have yours, ours, or my rights taken away.
As far as Marina Jack’s I understand they are putting in 125 feet of Dinghy Dockage and the Water Taxi will be free as well as pumpouts.
Believe me I know how hard it is going from not paying for your mooring, to paying... as we had the same thing in Boot Key.
And having stayed at Jack's, I do like the facilities they have there. I only wish West Marina wasn't so far way.
