Marathon says NO while other cities are now saying YES.

City Commissioners Monday night called for development of a “doggy dining” ordinance.
Doggy dining ordinance – City Atty. Ron Brown will prepare an ordinance under a state pilot program to allow restaurant patrons to bring their dogs into outside dining areas.
The 3-year pilot program is in its last year before review by the state legislature. Several area restaurants have given support in emails to the city, and Visitors and Convention Bureau.
Communications Director Jay Humphreys noted it would make sense, “especially since www.dogfriendly.com selected St. Augustine as one of the most dog-friendly communities in Florida.”
