Greg, Thanks a lot for your reply! I spoke with the folks at Marathon Boatyard. They made me a pretty good deal for a round trip (off the trailer and back on in a week), but they're having a problem with me stepping the mast and they don't have hours on Saturday.
I also called Harbor Point (former Cannon Marine). He told me his ramp should be no problem, it's long and high tide would be no problem. Does this sound accurate or is he telling me what I want to hear.
I seriously appreciate yours and anyone else's input. Thanks again!

: 4 or 5' is going to be tough. I don't know
: right off hand where you could do that
: around Marathon - let alone on the ocean
: side or harbor. My first inclination would
: be to have it lifted into the water. If
: you're going to be oceanside (harbor side),
: then call Marathon Boatyard. That will put
: you right in the harbor, across from
: Sister's creek. You could also contact Chris
: who runs the Smorgasboat in the harbor and
: ask him if he's aware of any ramp that deep.
: I'm not. He's at
: Have a good trip.

: Hi all. We're heading to Marathon and
: bringing
: our small sailboat along. The boat draws
: 27" but I need about 4 or 5 feet at a
: ramp to launch from the trailer. Can anyone
: recommend a ramp (ocean side) near Sister's
: Creek? Should I even try launching from the
: trailer or should I have a marina lift it
: from the trailer to the water (and back to
: the trailer after a week) ... and if so, can
: you recommend a marina. Thanks!
