As far as the City of Marathon being a CASH COW...
I will refer you to the Keynoter and the Marathon Free Press.
Now as far as the St. Pete Marina..
I lived on "D" Dock for many years. So I know St. Pete VERY well. I also know THEY HAVE night-time security. As well as a waiting list around a year long. And each "Dock" has it'sown Boat house with Washers, Dryers, Showers, TV, etc.
If boaters in Marathon want security THEY MUST stand before the city and say so.
