In "Florida"
ALL vessels MUST have registration and sticker
present. No matter the size of the engine... yes even if it is only an elec. trolling motor.
If it has a motor, it must be registered.
A "tender" is ONLY a vessel use to work on the main vessel. Under Florida Law a "tender" may work around the vessel, BUT not go anywhere else... such as saying" Oh I just needed to go to Boaters World to get some parts... That seldom will work... because of Florida Law, you may or may not get a ticket DEPENDING on the Officer who stops you.
